Police arrest eight illegal foreigners in Ombadja


Ondjiva – About eight foreigners from various nationalities were arrested in the last seven days, in Ombadja Municipality, Cunene Province, by members of the National Police for entering the country illegally.


In an interview to ANGOP the spokesman of the National Police, superintendent Carlos dos Santos, stressed that the detention happened at the Xangongo /Humbe route, when the immigrants tried to travel to Huíla Province.


The foreigners are mainly from Côte d’Ivoire (3), Guinea-Conakry (3) and the others are Malians and Mozambicans who were already sent to the Immigration Services.
