Luanda – The central committee of the ruling MPLA party is meeting on Friday in Luanda in order to assess the document on the principles and criteria to be adopted and thus draft the list of candidates to the National Assembly in the next elections and governance programme for 2013/2017 period.

The meeting is being chaired by the MPLA president, José Eduardo dos Santos.

During the opening ceremony, MPLA president said that these issues will top the meeting.

The meeting is being attended by 286 members of the central committe out of 311 ones and it will analyse the report of politburo of the ruling party, balance of 2011 programme and general plan project of the party for 2012.
