Human rights official expected in Lunda Norte


Luanda - The State secretary for Human Rights, António Bento Bembe, will visit on 13 - 17 February eastern Lunda Norte province to discuss issues related to the sector.

 

 
This was expressed in a note released by the State Office for Human Rights delivered Thursday to Angop.

 


According to the source, Bento Bembe will assess the situation of the sector related to last six months.

 

 
Under the visiting programme, the official will meet with provincial governor, members of Consultative Council, delegation of Ministry of Home Affairs and the Provincial Command of National Police.

 


Meeting with the administration of justice organs and members of the Provincial Committee of Human Rights, are also part of the visiting programme of State Secretary for Human Rights.

 

 
In the context of his trip to the eastern region, António Bento Bembe will also visit the Provincial Department of Criminal Investigation, the provincial prison, and will hold lecture entitled "Education for human rights culture.
