Community wants Angola House in Cape Town

South Africa - The Angolan community in eastern Cape, South Africa, have appealed for the opening of an Angola House in that city, to serve as space of unity, sociability and divulgation of the country's culture, ANGOP has learnt.

The appeal was made to the ambassador Josefina Pitra Diakité, during the first meeting of the Angolan Embassy, involving members of the Consulate and representatives of the community.

The meeting also served to present the new general consul to Cape Town, Apolinário José Pereira, to the representatives of the Angolan community.
