Justice Ministry focuses on courts reforms

Luanda - The Ministry of Justice will pay a special attention this year to courts reforms, to confer greater dignity during their functioning.

 

This was said to Angop on Wednesday by the Justice Minister, Guilhermina Prata, while addressing the opening ceremony of the meeting with chief of the provincial and municipal courts.

 

According to her, in this phase, the ministry has been paying a particular attention to infrastructures, so that both new courts under construction and the old ones may have better working conditions.

 

 

She said that the courts reforms will guarantee more efficiency on the functioning of the judicial secretaries and prosecuting counsel, as well as turning the infrastructures into Justice Palace countrywide.

 

The three-day meeting, organised by the High Council of the Judicial Magistracy, aims to analyse and envisage improvement the functioning of courts.

 

 

The meeting will discuss the model of presenting work results and the structure framework of the High Council of the Judicial Magistracy, among others issues.
