Luanda - The Head of State of Niger, Issoufou Mahamadou, on Monday here made a stop over after attending the 100th anniversary of the South Africa African National Congress (ANC), Angop has learnt.
At the Luanda 4 de Fevereiro international airport, the official was greeted by the Angolan minister of Transports, Augusto to da Silva Tomás, and the director for Africa of Foreign Ministry Joaquim do Espirito Santo, with whom he debated matters of bilateral co-operation.
ANC was one of the movements that fought against the Apartheid regime in South Africa, a country where it was founded on January 08, 1912 and is the ruling party since the first multi-racial elections, held in 1994.
