National Police need to regain citizens trust

Kuito – The governor of the central Bié Province, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, last weekend in Kuito City urged National Police to work seriously in order to gain the trust and respect of the population.

Boavida Neto spoke at the opening of a meeting called “Morality Crusade of the National Police Command”, whose objective was to learn about the various problems faced by law enforcement unit in that zone of the country.

According to the governor, lately it has been registered cases of lack of respect from the citizens to the police due to some negative acts carried out by some officers.

He said the National Police must work to guarantee order, peace, trust and tranquillity among populations and, therefore, defend the interests of the nation and State.
