Luanda – The Angolan minister of State and Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, Friday in Luanda ruled the possibility of the recent re-adjustment of the fuels price to spur inflation, underlining that this will contribute to redistribution of national wealth
and improve the people's living standard.

 
Manuel Nunes Júnior was answering the reporters during a press conference, while analysing performance of the executive in the past quarter.

He recalled that while conducting the revision of State General Budget for 2010, the National Assembly approved the principle of yearly reduction of 20 percent of subsidies paid related to the fuels, as the gas and diesel.

 
The Angolan minister of State and Economic Coordination said that this will enable the saving of about an annual AKz 400 billion, that will be applied for the economic and social programmes with the impact on the people's lives.

 
He informed that by yearend the government will reduce the subsidies till 8 percent foreseeing to reach 20%.

The minister explained by saving the product the State can allocate more resources in redistribution of national income.
