Ondjiva - The Italian ambassador to Angola, Josefe Mistreia, started Thursday a three-day official working visit to the northern Cunene province aimed at analysing with the local authorities projects related to the health project.
Josefe Mistreia, who made a stop-over in Ondjiva city Thursday, held a separate meeting with the provincial governor, António Didalelwa, and the Health’s Board of directors in Cunene.
According to the visiting programme, delivered to Angop, the Italian ambassador is expected to Ombadja district, where he will learn about the functioning of the health services in Mucope commune and Chulo hospital.
Accompanied by four members of the embassy, Josefe Mistreia is expected back to Luanda on Saturday.
The Republic of Italy is the first Western country to recognise the independence of Angola has long historic ties with the Southern African country.
