Lobito – The chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), gen. Francisco Pereira Furtado, Thursday in Lobito, central Benguela province, spoke of the need for team work, discipline and management in the accomplishment of military duties.
According to the official who was speaking at the inauguration of the Pilot Training Squadron of the Lobito Military Aeronautic Training School, the work so far done shows the capacity of the various fields of FAA to accomplish missions.
Gen. Furtado said the programme of modernisation of FAA will require much Money that will be used in various projects intended to improve the troops conditions.
"While the financial conditions for the great FAA modernisation projects are being created, it is necessary to advance with the creation of work and accommodation of the troops through available resources,” he said.
On the other hand, the official spoke of the advantages offered by the Pilot Training Squadron.
He praised the management of the school for the initiative that will secure better conditions of work and accommodation for the troops.
The ceremony of inauguration was witnessed by FAA, Air Force and Navy Staffs generals and Portuguese and Israeli instructors working at the school.
