Minister announces allocation of funds to local administrations

 

Uíge – The Angolan district and local administrations will every year allocated funds the State Budget, as part of Government’s integrated development and poverty fighting programme, Angop learned Thursday here.


The information was released in northern Uige province by the minister of Territory Administration, Bornito de Sousa.


The minister announced this during a meeting with district administrators and directors of some institutions of the province, where he on Friday launched the national campaign on voter’s registration update that will go until September 30 this year.


He said the main tasks of his sector is to work together with the provincial governments, district and local administrations, in a transversal perpective, hoping that the best performances of those institutions might translate into improvement of the living of the populations.


Bornito de Sousa also announced meetings with provincial, district and local administration staffs in coming days, to transmit to them and their aides some management instruments.


The minister mentioned budget execution, planning, public contract and new public and private investment mechanisms as some of the instruments.
