Defence Ministry accredits new South African military attaché

Luanda – The Ministry of National Defence, Friday in Luanda accredited colonel Vuysile Salmon Thafeni, as the defence attaché of South African embassy in Angola.

 
The ceremony, that took place in the premises of the Ministry of Defence, was chaired by the national director of International Relations of this governmental institution, admiral André Gaspar Mendes de Carvalho "Miau".

 
Colonel Vuysile Thafeni, was born on 21 August 1963, is married and attended military training in the ‘’80s in Anti-air speciality in Caculama, Malanje, Republic of Angola. Afterwards he concluded his training in the same speciality at level of battalion commander in Ukraine.

 
He also attended several courses with highlight to the management of personnel service of battalion, military law, join command of the general staff and programme command.
