Italy finances demining projects with over one million dollars

Luanda - Over one million dollars is the amount made available by Italy for projects in demining area of Angola, revealed Monday, here, the ambassador to this country, Giuseppe Mistretta.

 

In an interview to ANGOP, the diplomat stated that his country will make various contributions in this area this year.

 

Giuseppe Mistrettas said that through the ngo Commodity Aid (Italian co-operation) four thousand euros were donated in the first phase, with USD 200. 000 for the next stages.

 

According to the ambassador, Italy is one of the countries with highest contribution to Angola's demining sector, stressing that his country will continue helping in that area.
