Experts improve demining techniques

Amboim - Twenty one experts on demining from Kwanza-Sul, Huila, Namine, Cunene and Cabinda provinces, are participating since Wednesday, in Amboim District, in a seminar on landmines control, ANGOP has learnt.

The goal is to update participants on techniques of removal of explosive devices and exchange of experience among non-governmental organisations operating in these regions.

Amboim's vice-governor, António de Carvalho, underlined the importance of the training, adding that it will contribute to the improvement of mines clearance that will enable the execution of agricultural projects and free flow of people and goods.
