Luanda - A group of angolan MPs left Luanda for Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) to join the Agolan Government delegation attending the World Urbanism Forum led by the minister of Urbanisation and Construction, José Ferreira da Silva.
On friday, the Angolan minister said the forum will debate the Government role in the settlement of disfavoured citizens, the largest stracta of city dwellers,stressing the importance of Angola's participation at the meeting, at a time the Government is implementing its national urbanism and housing programme, which provides for the promotion of social housing.
The group of MPs from the 4th Commission of the National Assembly, dealing with public administration and local authorities, is headed by Júlio Bessa, MP with the ruling MPLA party.
