Human Rights secretary ends Huila visit

Lubango, - The secretary of State for Human Rights, António Bento Bembe, ended his five-day work visit to southern Huila province on Friday, after assessing matters linked to the functioning of the sector, Angop learned.

 

Bento Bembe said there has been improvement to the situation in prisons, increase in classrooms at the level of schools, as well as enlargement of the local penitentiary.

 

The source also said it is important to continue the strategy of education for culture of human rights in the province, although admitting a good functioning of the local committee of the sector.
