Home Affairs minister expected in Malanje


Malanje – Home Affairs minister Roberto Leal Monteiro Ngongo, is awaited Friday in Malanje, for a three-day work visit, as part of Prison Service Day, marked on March 20.


The central act happens in Damba Penitentiary of Malanje, Caculama district, 50 kilometres off the city, and will be led by the Home Affairs minister.


In Malanje, Roberto Leal Monteiro is expected to meet with provincial governor Boaventura da Silva Cardoso and with Home Affairs provincial delegate, José Moniz.


In the province the minister will visit fire fighters office and the areas where some infrastructures of the sector are to be built.


While in Damba, the minister will inaugurate two jails with a capacity of hosting 400 prisoners, between male and female.


Home Affairs minister is due to return to Luanda on Sunday.
