Ambassador Marcos Barrica visits "Amorim" group


Lisbon – The Angolan ambassador to Portugal, José Marcos Barrica, last week visited the champagne cork factory “Champork”, in Espinho, northern region of Portugal, owned by “Groupo Amorim Revestimentos”.


Accompanied by officials of the Angolan diplomatic mission, the ambassador expressed the wish to have the presence of “Amorim” group in Angola reinforced.


According to Américo Amorim, president of the group, his company has intention to consolidate it’s presence on Angolan market.


Beside cork, “Amorim” group invests in areas like telecommunications, energy, tourism, housing and finance.
