Mass Media minister visits press centre


Luanda - Angolan Mass Media minister, Carolina Cerqueira, Thursday in Luanda visited "Aníbal de Melo" Press Centre (CIAM) and the People Printing Sector to assess the functioning of the institutions.


Accompanied by vice-minister, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi", and national director of Information, José Luis de Matos, the minister was briefed by CIAM's director, Olímpio de Sousa on the functioning of the institution’s several divisions.


Whereas, at Popular Printing sector, Carolina Cerqueira met with managing board members and toured administrative and technical areas.


Sworn in last February, the Social Communication minister has already visited Public Television of Angola (TPA), Radio Station (RNA), Newspaper (Edições Novembro) and Angola’s News Agency (Angop).
