Ondjiva – The deputies of the 4th Commission of National Assembly will visit on Wednesday the city of Ondjiva (Cunene) to analyze the damages caused by floods in the region.
According to a programme of visit that reached Angop the entourage will meet local governor, António Didalelwa and the civil protection commission to make an assessment of last year’s recommendations.
A report from the civil protection says that in 2009 floods affected the municipalities of Namacunde, Kwanhama, Cuvelai and Ombadja and displaced over 22.000 people and destroyed 130 hectares of land.
