Government analyses floods aftermath

Menongue - The provincial government of Kuando Kubango is meeting at its second ordinary session to among other issues, examine the impact of last rains that devastated some parts of the region.


The meeting is being chaired by the governor, Eusebio de Brito Teixeira, who will forward to members of his executive resolutions of the meeting of Cabinet with the provincial governors, recently held in Luanda.


Speaking at the opening of the meeting, the official said he would also review the powers of governors, vice governors and district administrators.


According to Eusebius de Brito, the meeting will look into in detail about the "Draft Law of State staff and their administrative and financial decentralisation.
