Lisbon - The Secretary-General of the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil, Rafael Guerra, announced Tuesday that his country is ready to implement the agreement of free movement of citizens within the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries.
Speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the Second Parliamentary Assembly of CPLP, running from Monday in Lisbon, Portugal, the MP said that this intention should move from paper to reality, in order to strengthen the cooperation of the community.
He guaranteed that Brazil will continue developing efforts toward development of democracy and economies of the organisation.
According to him, the cooperation within CPLP must go beyond the language and develop into other areas such as health, investment and infrastructure.
The Angolan parliamentary delegation integrates, MPs Luís Reis Cuanga, João Melo, Cristóvão da Cunha, Lúcia Tomás and Lukamba Gato.
CPLP comprises, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Sao Tome and Principe, Cape Verde, Brazil, Portugal and East Timor.
