Parliament concerned about functioning of haemodialysis services

 

 

Luanda  - The National Assembly has expressed concern about the operation of dialysis services of "Josina Machel" Hospital, translated into weak service provided to the patients.

 
The vice-president of the Seventh commission of National Assembly, Madalena Narciso said this Monday to the press after separate meetings with the Association of the Renal Impairment and the Managing Board of Josina Machel hospital.


According to the MP, the haemodialysis service is not operating as desired, because patients complain of poor service and other issues she has not revealed.


Therefore, Madalena Narciso guaranteed that the commission will meet with the Health minister on 12 February with view to find out a solution of the case.
  

In his turn, the executive secretary of the Renal impairment Association, Afonso Lukamba  said he has received assurances from the National Assembly on the solution of the problem.


The seventh commission of the National Assembly responds to the Health, Employment, Former Combatants, Information, Children, Family and Women Promotion issues.
