Mozambican Premier follows up Angola politics

Luanda – The Prime Minister of Mozambique, Aires Bonifácio Ali, on Monday said he closely follows up the latest development in Angola that led to the birth of the third Republic and the swear-in ceremony of the new Angolan executive, Angop has learnt.


This stand was expressed during an audience granted by the Angolan ambassador to Mozambique, João Garcia Bires.


At the meeting, the Mozambican official praised the Government and people of Angola for the excellent holding of the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2010) on January 10-31, 2010, in four cities of Angola.


During the meeting, both entities debated various issues, such as the new areas of co-operation between the two Portuguese-speaking States, with highlight to scientific and business sector.


The Mozambican Premier was appointed on January 16, by President Armando Guebuza, in a replacement of Luisa Dias Diogo, who was in charge for three years.


He was the minister of Education and Culture in the previous government.
