According to the minister, the media organs play a transcendent role in moral standards of society, respect for the citizenship rights and the promotion of moral and civic values that should guide the Angolan society.
"The media has educative role and let us together demonstrate that it is possible to make a media that complies with the citizens and the multicultural mosaic of our country," said Carolina Cerqueira .
On the sector's priorities, the minister stated that they were outlined by the Head of
Government during the promulgation of the Constitution.
They (priorities) are based on the conditions to be created by the State that will enable the press to become more and more responsible, independent, united and plural.
