Luanda - The chairman of the angolan bar association, Manuel Vicente Inglês Pinto, will chair the first international congress of portuguese speaking lawyers to be held in Lisbon (Portugal) from March 22 to 24.
The event, organized by the union of portuguese speaking lawyers, will debate subjects such as " The challanges of portuguese speaking advocacy in a borderless world", "The prerogatives of lawywers as guarantees of citizens", "The lawyer before the state of law" and "The lawyer before the Judiciary".
"The lawyer before the society", "The lawyer professional secrecy", "confidentiality lawyer/client", "wiretapes and searches in lawyers offices" and "criminalization and breach of confidentiality" are also subjects to be discussed at the gathering of hundreds of lawyers from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe and from the Lawyers Association of Macau (China).
