Luanda – The Angolan Government will continue to improve the system of control and management of disasters, Angop learned Monday in Luanda.
This was said by the deputy Interior minister for Civil Protection and Fire Brigade, Eugénio Laborinho.
Eugénio Laborinho who was speaking to the press after being sworn in as deputy minister by Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, at a ceremony that took place in the noble hall of Luanda’s Presidential Palace.
The deputy minister spoke of the existence of a strategic development plan for the sector in the 2009/2015 period that will continue to be implemented, with a view to a better assistance to the population in case of disasters.
Eugénio Laborinho is part of the Government that was appointed last Friday in the ambit of the new Constitution which was promulgated on the same day by Angolan President.
