Luanda – The Angolan Foreign minister, Assunção dos Anjos, left Luanda Wednesday morning for Maputo, Mozambique, where he will attend the extraordinary meeting of the Inter-State Committee on Politics and Diplomacy of the Southern Africa Development Community  (SADC)'s Defence and Security Cooperation organ.

The meeting taking place Wednesday is intended to prepare the African Union (AU)’s next summit in accordance with a decision made by SADC’s summit held in Kinshasa (DRC), in September 2009, regarding the support to the candidature of Mali to chair the African Union (AU).

On the other hand, the participants are to be informed by the SADC mediator, Joaquim Chissano, about the political crisis in Madagascar and by the presidency of the organ about the last development in the political situation in Zimbabwe, concerning the implementation of the global political agreement.
