UN envoy to Great Lakes arrives in Luanda

Luanda - The United Nations special envoy to the Great Lakes region, Olusegun Obasanjo, arrived this Tuesday morning in Luanda, where he will hand over a message of the UN Secretary-general, Ban Ki-Moon, to the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos.


At Luanda 4 de Fevereiro International Airport the official was welcomed by the Director for Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nelson Cosme,The Mr Obasanjo, a former president of Ngeria, will seize the opportunity to debate with the Angolan authorities the situation in the Great Lakes region and others of bilateral interest.
