Kuito- The member of the MPLA politburo and co-ordinator of Government follow-up group for central Bié province, João Batpista Kussumua, is charing Friday in Kuito, the 10th ordinary provincial conference of appraisal and renewal and mandates, Angop learned.

João Baptista Kussumua, also minister of Social Welfare, is since Thursday in Kuito, at the head of a party delegation.

The meeting will approve the report of activities carried out by the outgoing committee, approve the guidelines for the working programme for the new mandate and the working commissions reports.

The election of the new members of the provincial committee, as well as the re-election of Alvaro Boavida Neto as MPLA local first secretary, after the renewal of his candidature are also on the agenda of the meeting .
