Luanda – The Angolan Cabinet Council will meet Wednesday in Luanda, under the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.
The emergency programme for assistance to the Angolan citizens expelled from the Democratic Republic of Congo and the new Luanda International Airport project, are among the main measures approved by the Cabinet Council’s latest session held on October 14.
On the other hand, the Cabinet Council appointed, for a three years term, the managing board for the Society of Development of Luanda/Bengo Special Economic Zone E.P. The body will be headed by António de Lemos, as chairman, Roberto Carlos Webba and José de Castro Paiva, as administrators.
The Cabinet also approved the financial programming of the National Treasury for the last quarter of 2009 and adjustments to civil servants salaries, seeking to keep the workers purchasing power.
