Angolan diplomat hosts Tunisian colleague?s fairwell

Rabat,  – The Angolan ambassador to Morocco, Luís José de Almeida, Tuesday in Rabat, presided over the ceremony of farewell of his Tunisian colleague, Salah Baccari, who ended his diplomatic mission in that northern Africa country.

 

In a short address, the Angolan ambassador, who is the dean of the diplomatic corps accredited to Morocco, said the ceremony was taking place on a special occasion as the people of Tunisia had just elected outgoing president, Ben Ali, for one more term.  

 

 
During the ceremony, ambassador Luis Almeida, on behalf of the diplomatic corps in Rabat, delivered a souvenir to his Tunisian colleague.


 
In his turn, the outgoing ambassador thanked the words and gift from the dean of the diplomatic corps and the presence of all his colleagues at the ceremony that took place on the premises of the Angolan embassy in Rabat.
