Angolan delegation attended AU peace and security meeting

Luanda - An angolan delegation attended in Abuja the summit of the Africa Union (AU) peace and security council on the situation in Darfur, Niger and Guinea-conacri closed thursday in the nigerian capital.

 

The angolan delegation to the meeting was headed by the ambassador to the AU and to Ethiopia, Manuel Augusto, representing president Jose Eduardo dos Santos

 

The meeting, chaired by nigerian president Alhadji Yar Adua prepared a report on peace, reconciliation and justice in Darfur and was attended by kenian head of state, Muai Kibaki, and representatives of the Africa Union, European Union and the United Nations.
