Angolan ambassador presents credentials in Luxembourg

Luanda – The Angolan diplomat Elisabeth Simbrão presented Thursday the credentials that accredit her as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador to the Grand Dukedom of Luxembourg.


According to a press note from the Angolan embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium, the diplomat handed over the document during a meeting with the Grain-Duke Henri of Luxembourg at the Royal Palace.


On the occasion, Elisabeth Simbrão presented to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg the greetings from the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos.


During the meeting, it was discussed issues related to the current political, economic and social situation in Angola, in view of strengthening the existing friendly and cooperation relations between both peoples.


The Grand Duke of Luxembourg is the head of State of Luxembourg.


Elisabeth Simbrão is the Angolan ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Netherlands, Grand Dukedom of Luxembourg and head of mission to European Union (EU).
