Luanda
Head of State wants to support musician Filipe Mukenga

Luanda – President José Eduardo dos Santos, manifested recently his interest in offering personal and institutional support to the Angolan musician Filipe Mukenga.

This intention is outlined on a letter sent to the singer, made available to ANGOP on Saturday, on which the Angolan President expresses his solidarity, as well as congratulates Mukenga for the release of a new CD entitled “Nós Somos Nós”.

“I wish you good health and all the best in your professional, artistic and family life”, reads the letter.

José Eduardo dos Santos thanked also the invitation made by the musician, regretting the fact that he could not attend the ceremony of launching the album, as well as listen to his “excellent songs” live, on October 15, due to incompatibility in his schedule.

The “Nós Somos Nós” CD is the 4th published by the singer and songwriter throughout his 46 years of music career.

It was recorded in Brazil and counted on the participation of the singers Zeca Baleiro (producer), Martinho da Vila, Vânia Abreu and his long-time work partner, the lyricist Filipe Zau.
