Luanda – Cuban Embassy military attaché in Angola, general Rafael Moracen Limonta, on Wednesday in Luanda highlighted the continuity of the co-operation between the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), as well as between FAR and countries of the southern African region in various sectors.
The diplomat spoke during FAR’s 53rd anniversary celebration ceremony, saying that with international spirit and solidarity with oppressed people from former colonial powers, it was possible to achieve Angola’s total independence, liberation of Namibia, as well as finishing South Africa’s racist regime, thus giving collaboration for the strengthening of brotherhood.
The general added that this contribution reinforces the spirit of friendship and solidarity between Cuban people and Africans in socioeconomic aspects and preservation of respective independences.
The ceremony was attended by MPs, government officials and political parties, diplomats, as well as former Angolan students in Cuba.
