Belas Conference Centre with translation services for seven languages

Luanda - The Belas Conference Centre inaugurated Tuesday in Luanda by Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, has four interpretation/translation booths equipped for simultaneous translation of seven languages.

Angop learned on the spot that four interpreter booths are equipped with high technology sound equipments, professional recording appliances, offices and an interpreter central unit system.

The isolated sound offices will facilitate the work of the interpreter who will be able to hear the speaker through a sound system in the conference room, carrying out
therefore the simultaneous translation through microphones and transmitters.

The “Belas” Convention Centre, an infrastructure which is owned by “Sagrada Esperanca” Foundation, has a capacity for about 3,000 people and owns several rooms with different services.
