London - British firm Crown Agents received an Honourable Mention in the category of the greatest consulting project of 2009 in Angola, nominated by the British Expertise Awards, in a ceremony witnessed by the ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ana Maria Carreira, ANGOP has learnt.
The award is a result of the recognition of the work that the British firm has been doing in Angola to improve Customs revenue, through the expansion and modernisation of this service.
The project was ordered by the Angolan government, at a time that the country was at war, having as main goal the attraction of investments, to boost economic growth and create an efficient and clear environment four development of commerce.
Crown Agents has been working in Angola since 2002, after signing a contract with the Ministry of Finance, to support the government in improving customs services efficiency.
