Luanda – The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) Wednesday here, on the sidelines of the 18th Joint Parliament Assembly session with the European Union (EU), examined among other issues, the “migration policies” of the member States of the interregional organisation.
The official for cultural and migratory issues of ACP secretariat, Aya Kasava, told the press that the project, estimated at 25 million Euros, will be sponsored by the EU under the aegis of the European Development Fund.
The source revealed that the project aims at strengthening the capacity of regional, national institutions and civil society on issues that affect the immigrants.
He indicated also that on a first phase, the project will be implemented in 12 countries, being Angola one of them.
