Luanda
Retrieval of identity and fundamental rights constitute independence gains

Luanda – The conquest of identity and fundamental rights, among others, constitute some of the greatest gains of the Angolan national independence that was proclaimed on 11 November 1975.

This was recently said in Luanda by the nationalist Alberto de Almeida.

Speaking to ANGOP, in the ambit of the 34th anniversary of the national independence, marked last Wednesday, considered this date as historic, mainly for those who followed the armed struggle since the beginning.

According to him, the gains of the independence started by the conquest of the Angolan identity, citizenship and rights.

He said that with the proclamation of the national independence, training of staff and institutionalisation of rights for Angolan people began, regardless of one’s financial condition.

To him, the youths should preserve the conquests that have already been achieved.
