Navy chief of staff lays wreath of flowers at Neto's monument

 

Luanda - The chief of staff of angolan navy, admiral Augusto da Silva Cunha "Gugu" laid a wreath of flowers today at the monument on late angolan president Antonio Agostinho
Neto, at the independence square.


"Agostinho Neto is an historical figure for the angolan navy since he was the one who created it in June 1976" - admiral Gugu said stating that the activity was under the celebration of the independence day (Nov 11) with the aim to magnify Neto's personality. 


Witnessing the ceremony were high ranked officers and marines of the angolan navy.
