Egyptian president congratulates Angola on independence

Luanda – The Egyptian head of State, Hosni Mubarak, Wednesday in Cairo, congratulated Angola on the celebration of the 34º anniversary of the national independence, on November 11.

The congratulation was transmitted by the secretary of the Egyptian Presidency, Mootaz Hassan, during a meeting with the Angolan ambassador to that northern African country, Pedro Hendrik Vaal Neto.

At the meeting, held on the premises of the Angolan embassy in Cairo, Hendrick Vaal Neto informed the Egyptian official about the situation in Angola, highlighting the importance of the good relations between the two countries.

Every year, on November 11, president Mubarak sends a government official to the Angolan Embassy in Cairo to congratulate, on his behalf, the Angolan people on the celebrations of the independence.
