Angola, US hold strategic partnership meeting


Luanda - Angola and the United States of America will hold Monday in Washington DC, a preparatory meetings for the establishment of a strategic partnership dialogue.


The information is contained in a press release from the US embassy in Luanda that reached Angop on Sunday.


According to the note, during the visit of the US state secretary, Hillary Clinto, to Angola, the two countries agreed to set up a new bilateral co-operation mechanism.


The partnership dialogue will involve regular meetings of working groups to discuss issues of common interest.
