Sharm el Sheikh – Angola is happy about the important progresses achieved in the ambit of the 2007-2009 implementation period of the Sino-African cooperation forum action plan.
This was said last Sunday in Sharm el Sheikh City, in Egypt, by the Angolan Planning minister, Ana Dias Lourenço, when she was delivering a speech in the plenary session of this event.
According to her, the 8 measures announced by the Chinese President, Hu Jintao, in November 2006, has had the desired impact regarding its implementation in Angola.
Thus, the Angolan government believes that the holding of this forum will consolidate and strengthen the cooperation relations between Africa and China, as well as will permit a major exchange between the institutions of the public and private sectors, as well as the approval of a dialogue and cooperation platform, as outlined on the Declaration and in the Action Plan for the 2010-2011 period.
Ana Dias Lourenço also added that the Angolan authorities consider that it is very important to take measures and the holding of joint projects to strengthen the China/Africa strategic partnership having in view the implementation of the Millennium Goals, the promotion of agricultural development and food security.
During her speech, the minister stressed that Angola considers that the cooperation with China is an effective way and tool to boost programmes and projects to rehabilitate economic and social infrastructures and the boost of crossed partnership among small, medium and big enterprises.
