Ambassador stresses country's rebuilding programme

Luanda - The Angolan ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Luís José Almeida, highlighted Thursday in Rabat, that the Government is making progress in executing the country’s reconstruction programme.

 

Speaking during national independence 34th anniversary in a conference held at Rabat Law University about “Angola in the past, present and future”, the diplomat highlighted that
Angola’s ties with its neighbouring countries are excellent, referring particularly to the Democratic Republic of Congo where thousands of Angolans were expelled.

 

According to a statement from the embassy, Luís José de Almeida highlighted the importance of holding CAN2010 in Angola whose preparations are satisfactory.

 

During his intervention, the ambassador made a brief history about the national liberation struggle of the ‘’60s, remembering also the different actions organized by General Union of Students of Black Africa, which he was a member.
