Foreign Affairs senior employees approve Sharm el Sheikh Declaration text


 
Sharm el Sheikh – The participants in the 7th meeting of the senior employees of the ministries of Foreign Affairs of African countries and China, who are gathered since last Friday morning, approved the Sharm el Sheikh Declaration.

 

Sharm el Sheikh Declaration is the document which regulate, in terms of policies, the cooperation between these states in the coming three years.


 
The document, which will be submitted for approval to the 4th Sino-Africa Ministerial Conference that is happening on 8-9 November, in Sharm el Sheikh City, results from a huge work of reflection about the Sino-African cooperation.
 


The event is being attended by 49 African countries and China, analysing the results of the last three years of cooperation and putting into perspective the next three years.


 
The 7th meeting of the senior employees of the ministries of the foreign affairs and the ministerial meeting are organs of Sino-African Cooperation Forum that was created in 2000.
 


Its creation was aimed at establishing a new partnership in the cooperation between African countries and China to be mutually advantageous.
