Ernesto Muangala re-elected Mpla 1st secretary in Lunda Norte

Dundo - Lunda Norte provincial governor, Ernesto Muangala, over the weekend was elected first secretary of Angola's ruling MPLA party in the diamond  rich province, during the 10th conference of balance and renewal of mandates  

 

The 472 participants to the conference elected a new 115-member strong  provincial committee, three candidates for the party's central committee and 58  delegates to the 6th ordinary congress of the MPLA party

 

A communiquee issued at the end of the meeting reads that the participants approved the balance report of the party's outgoing provincial committee,the working program for 2010/2015 mandate, and acknowledged the commitment of the  party structures recruiting new members.   


 
Thje conference also recommended the party structures in Lunda Norte province to proceed implementing social actions aimed at improing the living conditions of  the population and approved a motion of acknowledgement and support to president  Jose Eduardo dos Santos for his wisdom leading the party and the nation.
