Draft Constitution Bills presented in Cabinda

 

Cabinda – The three draft Constitution bills of the Republic of Angola, were presented on Saturday, here, to the members of the government, political parties and the population in general.

 

The presentation session that was also witnessed by the provincial governor, Aníbal Rocha, was chaired by the deputy Isabel Peliganga, member of the Constitutional Commission of the National Assembly.

 

The Member of Parliament Isabel Peliganga has presented in details the three draft Bills of the Constitution, by pointing out the main differences and similarities.

 

She called on the participants to attentively study the three draft Bills, in order to contribute with suggestions able to enrich the future Constitutional Law of Angola.

 

"The proposals can be submitted to the Constitutional Commission by letter or e-mail’’, she explained.

 

On the occasion, the governor of Cabinda province, Aníbal Rocha, advised the participants to choose the best model of the constitution that guarantees the political, economic and social stability of the country.

 

The draft A defends the instauration, in Angola, of a Presidential system, B advocates Semi-Presidential, while draft C supports Presidential-Parliamentary system.
