Angola: Parliament approves Constitution drafts presentation texts

Luanda – The Parliament's Constitutional Commission approved Tuesday in Luanda the standardised wording for the presentation of the texts proposed for the new Constitution.

The texts summerising the main aspects of the three Constitution drafts will bring the various teams speaking in one voice, according to the spokesman for the Constitutional Commission, Samuel Daniel.

The MP for the ruling MPLA party explained that the 3rd session of the Constitutional Commission which followed two previous meetings held on October 26-27 approved the projects A, B, and C and the MPs programme of trips to the provinces.

He stated that another meeting is scheduled for November 10 for the analysis of the fundamental principles of the three approved drafts.

The public presentation of the drafts will start Wednesday, going until November 8.
