Ambassador considers mention of Angola by French justice as abusive

Amman,  – The Angolan ambassador to Egypt, Pedro Hendrik Vaal Neto, considered as abusive the involvement of the name of Angola in the weapons trafficking lawsuit filed by the French justice.

Hendrik Vaal Neto said so in separate meetings with senior officials of the kingdom of  Hashemite of Jordania, where he is also accredited as ambassador, adding that he was surprised with the decision of the French justice regarding the lawsuit on the purchase of military equipment.

The Angolan diplomat met separately with the head of protocol and with the director of the Foreign Affairs Ministry for African Issues, respectively.

On the other hand, Hendrik Vaal Neto informed them about the position of the Angolan government regarding the current situation in Guinea-Conakry.

The diplomat also informed the interlocutors about the position of the Angolan government regarding the situation of the Angolan refugees expelled from the Democratic Republic of  Congo and Congo Brazzaville.
